CPSM Offers Public Safety Insights at 2019 ICMA Regional Conferences

The Center for Public Safety Management (CPSM) kicked off 2019 with a strong presence at the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) regional conferences throughout the country. Starting with the Southeast conference in Greenville, South Carolina and finishing strong at the Midwest conference in Evanston, Illinois, CPSM Principals offered direct responses to attendee questions about public safety management.

The theme for the 2019 regional conferences is developing an innovation mindset. ICMA members are inspired to reshape and create new innovations in their organizations and community to meet the challenges of 21st century governance.

Principal Thomas Wieczorek was on hand to discuss CPSM’s role as ICMA’s exclusive provider of public safety services during the first session of the conference.

“Public safety is our passion. Our team is backed by years of experience in both local government and public safety, so we have a deep understanding of how data can and should drive the decision-making process.”

The ICMA regional conferences provide an opportunity each year for CPSM to talk to ICMA members and agencies directly. The team stands ready to assist in improving police, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS) programs for communities of all sizes.

The CPSM team will be attending the ICMA Annual Conference in October. If your agency is facing hiring a new police or fire chief, or if you have any questions about public safety, stop by the CPSM booth. We are happy to help.
